  • "Allaah has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Qur'aan), its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated, The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it), Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allaah, That is the guidance of Allaah, He Guides therewith whom He pleases and whomever Allaah sends astray, for him there is no guide." [Az-Zumar (39):23]

  • Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

    Somebody said to the Prophet (during his last Hajj), "I did the slaughtering before doing the Rami.' The Prophet beckoned with his hand and said, "There is no harm in that." Then another person said. "I got my head shaved before offering the sacrifice." The Prophet beckoned with his hand saying, "There is no harm in that." [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 84]
