When you go (to fight) in the Cause of Allaah, verify (the truth), and say not to anyone who greets you (by embracing Islaam): "You are not a believer"; seeking the perishable goods of the worldly life, There are much more profits and booties with Allaah, Even as he is now, so were you yourselves before till Allaah conferred on you His Favours (i.e, guided you to Islaam), therefore, be cautious in discrimination, Allaah is Ever Well-Aware of what you do." [An-Nisaa' (4):94]

  • Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud:

    The Prophet said, "Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others."
