"Because of their breaking the covenant, and of their rejecting the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allaah, and of their killing the Prophets unjustly, and of their saying: "Our hearts are wrapped (with coverings, i.e, we do not understand what the Messengers say)" - nay, Allaah has set a seal upon their hearts because of their disbelief, so they believe not but a little." [An-Nisaa' (4):155]

Narrated Anas:
The Prophet said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell." [The Book of Faith Volume 1, Book 2, Hadeeth 42]
