"And to (the people of) Madyan (Midian), (We sent) their brother Shu'aib, He said: "O my people! Worship Allaah! You have no other Ilaah (God) but Him, [La Ilaaha ill-Allaah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah)]." Verily, a clear proof (sign) from your Lord has come unto you; so give full measure and full weight and wrong not men in their things, and do not mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, that will be better for you, if you are believers." [Al-A'raaf (7):85]

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
Somebody said to the Prophet (during his last Hajj), "I did the slaughtering before doing the Rami.' The Prophet beckoned with his hand and said, "There is no harm in that." Then another person said. "I got my head shaved before offering the sacrifice." The Prophet beckoned with his hand saying, "There is no harm in that." [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 84]
