"And if there had been a Qur'aan with which mountains could be moved (from their places), or the earth could be cloven asunder, or the dead could be made to speak (it would not have been other than this Qur'aan), But the decision of all things is certainly with Allaah, Have not then those who believe yet known that had Allaah willed, He could have guided all mankind? And a disaster will not cease to strike those who disbelieve because of their (evil) deeds or it (i.e, the disaster) settle close to their homes, until the Promise of Allaah comes to pass, Certainly, Allaah does not fail in His Promise." [Ar-Ra'd (13):31]

The Prophet used to take care of us in preaching by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He abstained from pestering us with sermons and knowledge all the time). [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 68]
