  • "In it are manifest signs (for example), the Maqam (place) of Ibraaheem (Abraham); whosoever enters it, he attains security, And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allaah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e, denies Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a disbeliever of Allaah], then Allaah stands not in need of any of the 'Alameen (mankind and jinns)."   • Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

    Allah's Apostle said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):
    1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.
    2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.
    3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity).
    4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)
    5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.
